Day 17: What Do You Want To Be When You Get Older?

I want to be famous

Though this dream is shallow

I want to be a star

Not a mere living shadow

I want to be famous

And also be wanted

I want to have fun

While my family's completely protected

I want to be famous

And hang with my friends

I want to be an icon

And not wear ugly pants

I want to be famous

I'm delusional, you see

I'm unsure about my talents

But I hope you'll like me

Maybe

I want to be famous

All eyes on me

When I'm dead they would say

"His soul, 'twas beautiful & free"

I want to be famous

I'd say it all day

I'd probably have haters

And I'll tell them to go away

I want to be famous

So one day I could say

That it was all once a dream

Someday, someday
