Is that me quoting an actual Madonna song that's not Vogue or Express Yourself? Yes. Is it the end of the world? No.
Much to my own dismay, I've found myself very much attracted to Madonna lately thanks to Madonna-Gaga hybrid stans on Tumblr. I relented and found myself liking Ray Of Light a lot. It was nothing like MDNA (the only Madonna album I legit listened) and there was not a single song that made me want to press the skip button. Frozen's my favourite simply because Madonna's vocals and the lyrics here haunt me.
It saddens me that Madonna(or her record label) is no longer interested in portraying this free-spirited and loving image present in Ray Of Light and has chosen to keep her career alive by making unnecessary controversy with a younger, better version of her. #thatstheteabitch
I've been good lately, methinks. Managed to watch Brave + Hocus Pocus today and I am surprised at how Hocus Pocus is laced with plenty of sexual subtext. Disney's been preparing us for sex since young!
He's beautiful, it's okay he's probably 30+ now :(
I've just been thinking about it and I think the 90's have got to be my favourite era of all time. Childhood aside, I really love the hair (okay, maybe not so much), the clothes, the angst, the depression associated with the 90's and of course, the grunge boys. Everything felt raw, I guess?
I hope the weather remains the way it has been for the past two days. There's nothing to complain about the rainy weather at all (maybe except for the "nice weather to cuddle" tweets).
